Anna Haghgooie
Anna Haghgooie is a Managing Director of Valtruis and an Operating Partner at WCAS, having joined in 2021. Ms. Haghgooie has over 15 years of experience partnering with entrepreneurs and operators to drive innovation in healthcare. Most recently, Ms. Haghgooie was a Managing Director of the Blue Venture Fund and Sandbox Industries. She has also served on the board of directors of Quilted Health, Somatus, ZeOmega, Contessa, Axial Healthcare, Origin, SonarMD, PWN Health, ExactCare, naviHealth (a WCAS XI former portfolio company), and Change Healthcare. Ms. Haghgooie earned her MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.
I was drawn to healthcare because I saw a clear opportunity for incentive models to shift, which could then drive needed change in how patients experience care and how providers provide care.
